Plan the layout and quotation
We discuss your ideas and budget, then assess the area, garden access, door levels and existing surface. The quotation sets out the agreed paving, preparation and details such as steps, borders or drainage.
Prepare the base and drainage
We remove the existing surface where required and prepare the supporting base for the chosen material. Levels, drainage and edges are set out before paving, so the finished patio works with the surrounding garden.
Lay the paving and finish
We install the selected paving and complete the agreed joints, edges and connections. At handover, we explain when the patio is ready to use and how to look after its particular finish.

Granite patio & raised beds
Our Clonsilla project combines silver-grey granite paving with rendered raised beds and matching granite capping. The paving links seating areas around the lawn, making the garden feel connected without covering the whole space.
From decking to wood-effect porcelain
In Skerries, our team removed the old decking and installed wood-effect porcelain paving. The new finish keeps a timber-inspired appearance while creating a paved seating area alongside the existing garden.

The price depends on the patio size, chosen material and work needed underneath. Removing old paving or decking, restricted access, drainage and features such as steps or raised beds can also affect the total.

Your patio questions answered
Which patio material is easiest to maintain?
Outdoor porcelain is often a practical option when easier cleaning is a priority, but every patio needs regular care. Shade, trees, drainage and the chosen finish affect upkeep. Natural stone and concrete have different care requirements; we explain these when discussing samples and your garden.
Can you replace an old patio or decking?
Yes. We can assess an existing patio or decking area and plan its replacement. Whether any of the supporting base can be retained depends on its condition, levels and suitability for the new paving. Removal and any additional preparation are included in the agreed scope.
Can you install a patio with narrow garden access?
Narrow access does not automatically rule out a new patio. The width of gates, side passages and the route for materials or waste can affect the method, timing and cost. Share photographs and access details when you enquire so we can assess the practical arrangements.
How do you deal with drainage and door levels?
We assess how the patio meets doors, walls and the surrounding garden, along with where rainwater can drain. The layout may need falls, channels or changes to existing levels. Tell us about standing water or awkward steps so these can be considered in the quotation.
How long does patio installation take?
The programme depends on the area, access, ground preparation, paving choice and weather. Some materials and installation products need time to cure before use. We discuss the expected schedule for your project and explain when you can walk on the patio and put furniture back.
Can the patio include steps and raised beds?
Yes. Steps, borders and raised beds can be included in the patio design and quotation. Their position and materials should be planned with the paving, particularly where the garden changes level. Photos of the existing space and examples you like help us discuss a coordinated layout.
